WHAT IS SCULPTURE?

Sculpture has has been revealing itself though experimentation of different mediums at Chelsea College of Arts. The pandemic proved that sculpture requires the body of the viewer to in the space with it, it needs to be walked around, seen from all angles and the scale understood through movement and time directly from the eye. The touch, texture, energy, the physicality excites, and cannot be easily mediated by a screen or a camera lens. Sculpture is interaction.
